School Again.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! YIPPEE!!!
Happy first day of school. Yahoo.
I'm not so pleased to go to school, but I went. I got one of my English projects back. Have any of you read Hatchet? Well we had to read it for school and we had to write and "I Am" poem about what Brian (main character) was like at the end of the book.
I have typed it out for all to see. Here it is,

I am Brian
I am a dreamer and brave.
I wonder how I will survive the winter.
I hear the wind whispering her soft song.
I see the water dancing in the faint wind.
I wand to forget the horrifying secret.
I am a dreamer and brave.

I pretend that I will one day be rescued,
I fell the scorching flame of my fire, my friend.
I touch the spirit of the of the wilderness.
I worry, what if I never see my sweet home again.
I cry when I realize that I will not be rescued, not now, not ever.
I am a dreamer and brave

I understand I am alone, no one but me and the wild.
I say death will not come today, or any time soon.
I dream of seeing my friends and family that mean so much to me.
I try to survive an almost impossible dream.
I hope to never lose my hatchet, my life and hope.

Music, music and more music!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Reader,

Don't you just love music!? I sure do.
I did not get the teacher I was hoping to have, I know God was still looking out for me because he gave me new friends, a locker and Music. I bet you are wondering why I'm thanking God for music. Well it's because, last Monday our Music teacher told us that the grade 7 and 8 only got to play instruments, but since we are in a split class we, grade sixes get to play an instrument. Well right away I knew what I wanted to play. Something my dad used to play. Well she told us how to put these instruments together and boy it took forever and ever and ever. But when she read the names and asked what instrument they wanted I chose......................... sorry have to go! Bye now!


Just kidding. I chose the TENOR SAX!!!!! Dad still has his so I can play it at home too! Go me. Thank you God. Well thanks for reading,

School again!

School again, school again!
Let me tell you a story. On Friday we went to see the school lists. I really,really,really wanted a teacher. So I went. "Mme R. not Mme. G." I was sad, but that was nothing compared to what happened next, I looked for three names. "Samantha, Mara and Clare." None of them in my class!
I was so bummed! First a teacher, now no friends. Not even my boy friends ( friends that are boys) were in my class and I have 8 boy friends! But the first day of school soon came and I try to make the best of it. My teach said there were no hooks so we were going to share lockers! How great! I said I could go in a group of three me, Maggie and someone else. Kira. Boy I can not wait for my third day of school tomorrow! THE END!

2 place? More running? Track and Field?

Last Thursday we had a Track and Field tryouts. I placed 2 in 1500m ( 4 and a half laps on my field). Today I went to semi finals and placed 2 in 1500m. I am very excited for the next track meet! I do not know when I will go, but I will tell you when I find out!

Hi! Bonjour! I forgot to tell you people something. I'm in French Imerion. I learn so much french my head fells like is going to blow! We write in our journal everyday.
